Description of Roles
LITA is governed by an elected Board of Directors that includes the President, President-Elect, Past President, a LITA Councilor, seven Directors-at-large, the Parliamentarian, and the Financial Advisory Committee chair. Click here to see a list of available LITA board roles and descriptions.
The LITA Board of Directors establishes committees to help manage or address particular concerns of the division. Each committee is composed of at least three LITA members who serve two year terms. Click here to see a list of available LITA committee roles and descriptions.
Interest groups are a great way to get involved with LITA, while learning about emerging trends or issues in library technology. The groups help shape future LITA programs, education initiatives, and publications.
